As the year continues, so does Titan Restoration Company’s “Giving is Living” campaign. It is only fitting that, on Memorial Day weekend, we announce that we are focusing on military charities for our second quarter donations. The company chose to make contributions to the Fisher House Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation. These charities were chosen to honor of the distinguished career of Command Sergeant Major Naamon James Grimmett, who is a decorated member of the armed forces and the brother-in-law of our company’s vice-president, Anita Puckett. Command Sergeant Major Grimmett has served overseas tours in Germany, Italy, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait in addition to his many assignments in the U.S. He is currently serving as the III Corps Intelligence Sergeant Major, Signal Intelligence and Sustainment Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, III Corps, Fort Hood, Texas. He is set to retire in August of 2019 after 30 years of service to our country. Thank you for your service Command Sergeant Major Grimmett, and congratulations on your upcoming retirement.

“We are extremely proud and honored to have Jamie in our family and this is the least we could do to celebrate his retirement”

- Anita Puckett

The entire team at Titan Restoration Company would like to say a special thank you to all of our brave service members and their families for the sacrifices you make for the good of our country.

We must also take time to honor all of those brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving up their lives for our country, and the families they left behind.

We can never say it enough:

The Fisher House Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation are great charities that provide much needed support to our country’s service men and women, and their families. Please read on to learn more about these foundations and help spread the word about the great work they are doing:

The Fisher House Foundation builds homes with comfortable suites so that military and veteran families can stay close by while their loved one is in the hospital. These homes, which are located at military and VA medical centers around the world, contain up to 21 suites and are provided for the family’s use, free of charge. Last year alone, Fisher House was able to serve more than 32,000 families! These houses are only one part of the work this organization does for military families and you can find out more or donate to this great cause at https://www.fisherhouse.org/.

The Gary Sinise Foundation has multiple programs geared toward supporting our nation’s veterans and active service members, first responders, and their families. The foundation’s programs provide adaptive smart homes for severely wounded service members, host festivals and family programs, sponsor healing retreats for wounded veterans, provide both emotional and financial support, and so much more. Actor Gary Sinise founded this foundation in 2011 with the idea of “…keeping our country strong by taking care of those who serve”. You can find out more or get involved at https://www.garysinisefoundation.org/.
